These scammers signed me up for their service without my permission. Took £15 from me before I realised what was happening. I rang O2, and they gave me a number to call. Told me to get them to unsubscribe me and block my number, so they can’t add me again later. Then I had to ask for a refund since I never replied to any texts or even subscribed. Got the refund cheque about 6 days after. Honestly, don’t bother texting these people. Just ring them on this landline instead: 02033 933695.

I've just noticed £15 gone from my Lebara balance without my permission. I never respond to those emails and now my phone has zero credit, which is worrying as I rely on it for medical emergencies. When I contacted Lebara, they said there's nothing they can do. Perhaps a couple of mates popping into their St Albans shop might help sort this mess. Each message to my phone costs £3, but Lebara claims they have no clue where the money is actually going, even though it shows up on their statement.

I only just clocked that they've been deducting £3 every week for nearly a month and a half. I'm proper annoyed because I never agreed to anything. It costs about £1.50 a month, but you might want to call your network provider first. If they start giving you any hassle, which they really shouldn’t, just tell them you’ll report them to Ofcom.

For a couple of months now, every Friday night I've been getting texts from cellso-babes.com, which I've just been deleting straight away since I didn’t ask for them and have no clue who they are. Last week, they sent a message saying they’re charging me £3 every time they send a text, and because I’m on pay-as-you-go, my credit has dropped a lot and my phone’s barely working. I’ve tried texting STOP to 66033, but I’m not holding my breath since others have said it doesn’t help. I’m planning not to top up my credit for a bit to see if that stops it, but how on earth can they take money from me without permission? This feels like outright theft and should definitely be reported to the police. Oh, and I’m with O2, so it’s not just Vodafone or EE people having this problem.

I've just found out I've been dealing with the same issue. When I contacted Vodafone, they said there was nothing they could do and directed me to call 0800 1577502 in the UK. Eventually, they mentioned that a block had been sent to Cellso. I gave Cellso a ring, and they told me they got the message to block my number and that I'd be getting a £21 cheque from them soon. Just like other folks, I’ve received a couple of texts from this business ever since I renewed my contract with Vodafone. You might want to check out a company named ZAMANO mobile messaging and marketing - they seem to be connected somehow, and surprise, surprise, they team up with mobile giants like Vodafone and EE. So yeah, they’re definitely in the loop about what’s happening. I’ve sent a stop text and blocked all premium rate messages coming in and going out. I gave the number a ring, and they promised a call back from customer service on Monday, the 15th of February.

Hey everyone, Just wanted to share an update after chatting with CellsoBabes today - I got an email from PayPal shortly after: Cellso Ltd has transferred £27.00 GBP to you Transaction ID: 2KF65496LY779067Y Dear XXXXXXXXXX, Just so you know, Cellso Ltd sent £27.00 GBP your way. The full refund showed up earlier than the 3-5 days they mentioned, and I've already moved it into my bank account. Fingers crossed this info helps anyone else going through the same thing :)

Got some messages from 80333 claiming to be from cellso babes. Each text cost me £3, which was a shock! I got in touch with Three network, and they told me to simply text "stop" back. After doing that, they actually gave me a refund for the charges.

I'm having the exact same issue. Money is being taken from my account by some company called cellso-babes.com, which I never signed up for.
I hardly ever use mobile data, so I quickly realised something fishy was going on.

My network, O2, says they can't handle it because apparently sellso have billed them directly. They told me to send a text saying "stop" to 80027, which is supposed to stop the deductions. We'll see if that actually works.
They also gave me two phone numbers for sellso:

But they're just voicemail lines!
There’s no official website for cellso at all!
I did get through to the first number, and they said customer service would get in touch about refunding my money stolen.

This is straight up theft and O2 really should’ve sorted this by now, it can’t be the first time they've seen this.

Just like the woman said about her husband, I got a message from these lot right after topping up my phone, and they're charging me for something I never signed up to!
