They advised me to insist on being unsubscribed and to have my number blacklisted to prevent any future unwelcome additions. I’m considering asking a couple of friends to pop by their St Albans branch to see if that might finally resolve the issue. I've just encountered a similar issue that I've only just found out about. Vodafone's response was utterly useless; they claimed there was absolutely nothing they could do! They directed me to the UK helpline at 0800 1577502. After reaching them, they assured me that they had applied a block on Cellso. I then contacted Cellso, and they verified that they had indeed received instructions to block my number and promised to send me a cheque for £21! I'm still waiting on that. I’m not alone in this, as I've received a couple of messages from this firm ever since I renewed my contract with Vodafone. It might be worth investigating a company named ZAMANO, which is involved in mobile messaging and marketing. Funny how they have connections with mobile providers such as Vodafone and EE-makes you wonder what’s really going on behind the scenes. I’ve already texted “stop” and blocked all premium rate messages both incoming and outgoing. I phoned the number they provided, and I’m supposed to hear back from customer service on Monday, 15th February. Fingers crossed they sort this out!

As I mentioned earlier, after having a chat with CellsoBabes today, I received an email from PayPal:

Just reaching out to inform you that Cellso Ltd has transferred £27.00 GBP your way.

I’m glad to report that the full refund came through as promised and even quicker than the 3-5 days they initially indicated. I've already moved it over to my bank account.

I've been dealing with a right pickle involving some dodgy characters from Cellso. They're clearly pulling a fast one on me, and honestly, O2 hasn't lifted a finger to assist.
