I got four calls from this annoying number in just a few minutes. I fed him a load of rubbish information and kept the chat going a bit, till he twigged he was wasting his time and finally gave up. Always good to have some fake details ready to throw back at them - it throws those greedy muppets off and wastes their time better spent bugging other poor sods.

Yesterday I got a call from someone with an Indian accent trying to sell me a 30% discount on my 02 account. Since I’m already with 02, I’m guessing they must’ve got their hands on a list of existing 02 customers or something. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, said they'd send me two codes and I should only tell them, not anyone else. After I hung up, they rang a couple more times but I just ignored them.

I've had this number call me multiple times. Eventually, I decided to pick up, and the chap on the other end claimed to be from O2. I quickly told him I wasn't interested at all, but then he had the cheek to ring me again, this time being rather rude. I've since blocked him, but funny enough, just a fortnight ago, a woman was pestering me with the same nonsense!

I got a call from someone pretending to be o2, telling me I could get 30% off. When I told them I already get a discount since I work for the NHS, the guy insisted that it was cancelled. I didn’t wanna give out any info or have anything added to my account, but he just got really rude and then ended the call.

He claimed to be ringing from O2 Telephonica, which struck me as a bit strange right off the bat. I struggled to hear him clearly and couldn’t quite catch what he was on about regarding reduced airtime rates, so I ended the conversation. I’m quite wary of these sorts of calls because they usually send a code, and genuine messages from O2 advise you to never divulge that code over the phone and to hang up immediately!

So I got loads of calls and texts from a number claiming to be O2, saying I’d get a discount if I just gave them some six-digit code they sent me. Totally feels like one of those scams to me. They kept ringing and leaving messages one after the other in no time.

Some bloke called with a thick Indian accent claiming to be from O2, saying I could get 30% off my bill. I asked him to prove he knew my name if he was really from O2. He got all annoyed and didn’t answer, just sighed and sounded fed up. Definitely a scam, so I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, spoke with a thick Indian accent and kept going on about some kind of ‘promotion’. I’m actually with Giffgaff, not O2, so I was a bit suspicious straight away. When they said they’d transfer me, I just ended the call. Then, weirdly, they called me back a couple of times. I decided to block the number after that, but they left me these really strange voice messages, sounded proper unhinged.

After seeing this, I just hung up straight away. My husband’s been getting calls from this same number, saying they’re from O2 and trying to pitch some amazing contract deal. Thing is, he’s got a lifetime contract all paid up, so no way they can top that. The guy on the phone had a strong Asian accent and got quite pushy. My husband just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, offering a discount. The guy said his name was ‘Michael’ but had a strong Indian accent that was hard to understand. He kept going on about sending me two texts in the next half a minute or so. We both stayed on the line waiting, but no messages came through, so I just ended the call. Then about half an hour later, the same number rang again. This time I picked up, and a mate had a look at the messages that came through after, which is why I’m flagging this here.
