Got a call earlier from 02033930828 claiming to be National House Group Plumbing/Drainage, offering a free camera inspection of my drains. Asked why they’d do it for free and they said it was for collecting data, and there’d be no pressure to fix anything even if issues were found. I ended up agreeing to let them come round tomorrow morning, but after thinking it over I rang back to cancel. Was put on hold for 10 minutes before a recorded message just said ‘Good Bye’. I really don’t want this appointment now and don’t want them showing up tomorrow.

Got a call from some national home service, saying my house was built before 1980 - which it definitely wasn’t. I asked if he knew about the TPS and he went on about needing to talk to my provider?! I told him we’re on the register and this is an unwanted sales call. He kept interrupting me, which was really irritating, so I just raised my voice and told him it’s illegal to cold call us. 26/06/2019 Got the same call like the one on 24th June, really caught me off guard and I ended up saying yes for them to come round today!! Thursday 27th. In the meantime I tried looking up the company number on Companies House but couldn’t find anything. Also phoned our water provider who said there’s no issue with our drains, so if this bloke turns up I’ll just tell him there’s no need for a drain survey and he can leave.
