Got a call on my phone from someone claiming to be with EE, saying they needed to verify if I was being charged properly for my EE broadband. They had a few bits of my personal info, but not the full picture. What they didn't realise was I don’t even have broadband! I just use a dongle for the tiny amount of internet I need. The person on the line spoke with a strong Asian/Indian accent. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

The caller insisted she needed to analyse life insurance options, yet I quickly recognised this type of call from a mile off.

Later, I received a voicemail featuring a cheerful woman's voice-definitely a person and not a machine-saying something like, "Oh, sorry about that! We’ll remove you from our list. Enjoy your day!" I can't for the life of me figure out who it was, though!

Just received another one of those dodgy scam calls. The voicemail was a robotic woman droning on, saying, “Apologies for that, we’ll ensure you’re removed from our list. Wishing you a pleasant day!” Typical rubbish!
