Honestly, I couldn’t give a toss apart from knowing it’s just some other camper being a right nuisance. They keep calling every few days from different London numbers, mostly around the same time but sometimes at random times too. I don’t know anyone in London, so now I just end up blocking the calls. It’s so bloody annoying and I wish they’d all get shut down for good!

I can relate to what others have mentioned, as I've only recently discovered these calls that seem to have landed in my BT junk voicemail without my knowledge. I wasn’t even aware that I had this feature, since I typically don't use voicemail-my calls usually just come through uninterrupted. I'm quite relieved I haven't had to deal directly with these individuals; they sound rather dreadful, and my heart goes out to anyone who has had to engage with them. It must have been quite unsettling for some! Hearing the message myself was certainly a bit alarming. Just know that you’re not by yourself in this, so there's really nothing to fear. Wishing you all the very best!

This whole scamming business absolutely needs to be put to an end. The individual on the other end of the line had the audacity to say they were from HMRC and that a warrant had been issued for my arrest. What absolute nonsense! It's been a week now, and I’m still here, roaming free as ever. I could see straight through this charade, but I'm genuinely concerned for those who might fall prey to it and end up feeling scared or anxious.

Just like everyone else, I've been inundated with calls from this number. Total nonsense, if you ask me! I chose not to pick up, but they left a rather tedious message on my voicemail. Absolute muppets!!!

Similar to what others have shared, I've received calls regarding an alleged HMRC legal action against me, warning that I might face incarceration, and so on. These calls are relentless-usually one a day, but occasionally I get two or even three in a single day!

Got this dodgy recorded call claiming HMRC are after me with an arrest warrant. Honestly, I couldn’t stop chuckling. When will these muppets just give up the scams and find real work?

I received a call from this number today, and it seemed to echo what so many others have mentioned. At first, it gave me quite a fright, but then I couldn't help but wonder why they chose to leave a voicemail instead of sending a written message.

As mentioned earlier, we received a voicemail yesterday, but we chose to disregard it as we could only decipher about half of the message. The same scenario unfolded today, around the same hour, with another message left, as we prefer not to answer calls from unknown numbers. Curiosity got the better of us, and we decided to return the call to inform them that they had mistakenly contacted us. Unfortunately, the number led to a message service, but they rang us back almost immediately. They requested our name, but my husband promptly inquired who they were. The response was rather unclear, but then they proceeded to ask for our insurance number, which caused us to end the call swiftly! Thank goodness for that!

Over the past few days, this number has kept buzzing nonstop. It’s really bothered my mum, who’s nearly 90 and just can’t seem to understand that it’s a scam. Sometimes she ends up hanging up straight away, but once I actually played along and said thanks for the warning so I could snatch my passport and leg it abroad. More recently, I’ve just given them a bollocking and told them where to shove it.

Yesterday, this number rang me up two times. I just ignored it and then made a report to the HMRC Fraud Line.

My neighbour has received a multitude of calls from this number without picking up. However, today they decided to leave a message claiming to be John Williams from HMRC, stating that a lawsuit had been filed in her name. Concerned, she returned the call, only to find the gentleman on the other end had a distinctly foreign accent. He insisted that she owed taxes dating back from 1971 to 2017, threatening imprisonment for twenty days if she failed to pay up. Naturally, my neighbour questioned why she had not received any formal correspondence regarding this matter. The man asserted that a letter had been dispatched requiring a signature, but apparently, no one was home to receive it. At 79 years old, she was incredibly distressed by the whole ordeal. He even inquired about how she planned to settle the alleged debt. Thankfully, she was wise enough not to divulge any personal information.

Today I got a call saying my mum had an arrest warrant out on her. Honestly, maybe they should've just taken her in - free lodging, three meals daily, constant entertainment, and whatever else she fancies. Ha ha, would’ve been quite the deal!

Got a call like that too, it's bloody outrageous how they scare folks like that. Saying something about a warranty for your arrest or whatever - makes no sense at all. Proper weird and twisted behaviour if you ask me.

Wondering who was ringing from 02033898878? Shame it wasn’t Boris Johnson, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Andrea Leadsom, David Davies, or Dr Liam Fox on the line instead.

I got a recorded message saying the HMRC had an arrest warrant out for me. They told me to press 1 to talk to the officer handling my case. Of course, I didn’t fall for it. It’s a rubbish scam designed to scare people, and I can see how some might get really worried.

I've gotten a call twice now from 02033 898878 claiming to be HMRC. They say there's a warrant out for my arrest and tell me to press 1 to speak to someone handling my case. Both times, I just ended the call straight away. Sounds like a classic scam to me.

Received a call claiming to be from HMRC, alleging that they had a warrant out for me. They urged me to press one to speak with my assigned case officer. Initially, I thought it was a scam, but out of curiosity, I complied and was promptly disconnected. As a widow, such news could have been quite alarming, yet I quickly realised that HMRC wouldn't have any legitimate claim against me.

My wife got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, and it really shook her up, especially with her heart problems. They told her there was a warrant for my arrest, can you believe it? It's clear to me that it's a scam, but she's over 70 and not great with computers at all. I don't understand why the police can't do something about these scammers when they keep using the same phone number repeatedly.

I’ve just had a rather alarming day with three phone calls that rattled me a bit. The first one came in at 12:50, claiming to be from HMRC, stating they were initiating legal action against me and instructed me to press 1 to discuss with my case officer. Then, I received another identical call at 16:10-same unsettling message, mind you. The third call came at 17:27, and it was even more distressing, asserting that HMRC had not only filed a lawsuit but also an arrest warrant under my name! They insisted I press 1 to engage with my case officer. I’m a 67-year-old widow, and I must say, this is all rather unsettling and quite frankly, it’s left me quite shaken.
