Got a call from this number saying they were with HMRC and threatening a lawsuit, telling me to press one to get details of my lawyer. I just ended the call straight away, because I'm positive if there was any legal stuff going on, I'd get a letter or something official in the post.

They called me like 4 times over the past couple of days, so irritating. I tried blocking the number on my phone but it still rings. It's some recorded message pretending to be from HMRC.

Got a call where some recorded voice said it was HMRC and that I was about to be sued, telling me to press 1 to talk or something like that. Total scam, I just hung up. Real legal stuff never comes like that, it’s always sent in writing first.
