This number keeps ringing my phone but it’s not saved in my contacts, so I never pick up. My caller ID flagged it as possible spam too. I’ve just blocked it now.

Got a scam call earlier. If you want to block all these dodgy calls for good, check out [#][spam website]. It worked for me!

This number keeps calling me loads, like a few times every week and I reckon it’s some kinda scam. It’s maddening that nobody can track where it’s coming from. I blame those internet providers for selling our numbers to dodgy businesses, even after you tell them not to share your info with anyone else. It’s like they just ignore what you say.

Oh here we go again, another dodgy number that keeps popping up! I don’t get why they can’t be tracked down. It rings my phone a good few times every week. I reckon it’s down to those internet providers selling our numbers off to shady firms, even after you’ve made it clear you don’t want them sharing it with anyone else. Proper frustrating!

Got a voicemail from 02033897373 on 7/2/17, it was some automated guy telling me that HMRC were taking me to court and that I had to hit 1 to talk to someone about my case. This isn't the first time I’ve had a call like this, I got a similar one earlier from a different number starting with 0191.

My 96-year-old mum got a message claiming she owed HMRC money - total rubbish! It really upset her and got her all worried. I’ve seen similar scams around for ages, they really should have sorted these out years ago and locked the scammers up. It's so frustrating!

I received a rather alarming phone call today, informing me that legal action was being taken against me and prompting me to get in touch with them. I strongly advise against reaching out to these individuals-it's nothing more than a scam.

Received a call with a robotic voice claiming to be from Her Majesty's Customs. It’s best not to engage or press any buttons. Simply hang up or consider blocking the number.

Utter bastards, I run a business and it’s the end of the tax year, right? They call me on my home number and absolutely terrify my wife. She’s already been through a quadruple heart bypass and now she’s been told she’s got breast cancer - and these dodgy people leave a voice message saying HMRC is taking us to court today for unpaid tax. She was sobbing when I got back from the shops. These scumbags are disgusting and should honestly be tracked down and kicked out straight away. Why on earth doesn’t BT just block them instantly? It’s outrageous.

My 79 year old mum has had a couple of scary messages left on her landline. They sounded so real she was quite shaken up. The people sending these calls are absolute cowards and should definately be found and stopped for good. They’re just bullies preying on vulnerable folks.

I received a call claiming to be from HMRC, stating that I was under investigation. As a pensioner who's done nothing wrong, I can tell this is a complete scam! Honestly, it's quite absurd - this sort of thing can really panic people, especially those who might be more vulnerable.

I was proper freaked out when some caller told me I owed HMRC £1200 and that they’d started legal action and even got an arrest warrant, saying I could be grabbed within 30 minutes. I started shaking and honestly felt like I was having a panic attack. I’m a single mum with a baby just one year old to care for on my own. Why can’t HMRC crack down on these scams and put an end to this rubbish?

Definitely sounds like a scam to me. I’m curious what’d happen if you actually hit 1 - bet you’d get sent to some expensive premium number charging like £15 per minute. BT seriously needs to sort this out.

Got a call from a bloke with a really deep voice, sounded kinda robotic like it might’ve been tweaked electronically or something. He said press 1 to talk to someone about an HMRC deal for unpaid taxes. I just hung up and looked up the number afterwards.

02033897373 absolutely terrified my mum who’s 75 by telling her she’d be arrested in half an hour. I don’t understand why anyone would be so cruel. Honestly, I wish I knew who this woman was so I could sort it out. Such a horrible thing to put an elderly person through.

Its just another one of those calls like all the others. I wonder why HMRC havent got rid of it yet? Maybe its cause this number can be on loads of different phone providers. Back when it was only BT lines, it might have been sorted out quickly.

Had a call pretending to be from HMRC - honestly, it’s getting beyond frustrating! There’s so much scam activity nowadays. I really think older people need to be warned to ignore these kinds of calls. In fact, it’s probably best if they only pick up when it’s someone they recognise. Anyone else can just leave a message. Properly annoying!

Had a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, saying I owed taxes and that there was a warrant out for my arrest. I told them to stop straight away since I don’t earn enough to owe any tax. Later on, I got in touch with the Action Fraud team after confirming with the real HMRC. Honestly, I’m so tired of these scammers, someone really needs to do something about it.

Been called twice by this lot and I just toss the call aside. Funny thing is, the automated voice actually cracks me up a bit. Took the time to contact HMRC, told them what’s going on and even gave them the exact number these daft scammers didn’t bother to hide. HMRC knows about it now and are working on stopping the nonsense.
