Watch out, this is a dodgy HMRC scam for sure! They rang my mum and told her she'd be arrested, and she actually broke down crying on the call. He even threw in some fake police officer names and a supposed warrant number to sound legit. We just played along to buy some time while we sorted the money he wanted. Meanwhile, we contacted a solicitor and the police straight away. Big thanks to the police officer who actually took our call and helped us out.
