Got a call from this number twice in the last couple of days - once in the morning yesterday and again today. They said they were from the HMRC and threatened legal action, telling me to press 1 to pay up. Total scam, just ignore and hang up straight away!

Oh no, the same annoying IR Tart popped up again. I was pretty sure I’d blocked them! With better voice recognition these days, it must be doable to catch these callers more easily. I reckon if we kept their messages saved for like ten years, we could eventually use newer tech to track them down and maybe start nabbing them one by one, putting them behind bars. Would be great to see some proper action finally taken.

HMRC calls? Yeah, as if. Just block em, ignore the lot, and hope these 'people' catch what they deserve when it’s all said and done.

Got two calls from this number, both times they left voicemails saying “HMRC is suing you, press 1 for info, urgent”. Didn’t pick up cos I knew it was a con. Proper scam, feel bad if anyone gets worried and gets caught out. Watch out!

Got a voicemail warning about a lawsuit and telling me to press 1 to speak with the case department. Honestly, it's really alarming and could easily frighten someone who's vulnerable.

I've gotten three calls saying there’s some kind of legal action from HMRC against me. Each time they left a voicemail.

Got a call claiming to be from HMRC, but it’s a total scam. Legit HMRC wouldn’t ring up like that. Never ever press 1, it’s just a bunch of dodgy scammers trying to rob you. Proper lazy cons if you ask me.

Over the past couple of days, I've had calls from three different numbers, one of which was from abroad. They’re causing so much stress, especially to older folks, and honestly, they’ve got to be put an end to.

Got a call from a woman who said there was a legal case filed against me. When I asked for her name and the company she was calling from, it wasn’t clear at all. Seemed fishy to me, probably just a scam, so I ended the call.

Got a call claiming it was from the tax office, but it’s definitely a scam - best to just ignore and not ring back.

I got a missed call, then a voicemail from a woman talking in broken English claiming she was with HMRC and warned me about some legal action against me. It really worries me how older folks or vulnerable people can fall for these scams. When are authorities going to put an end to this nonsense?

Got a recorded message claiming to be from HMRC saying there was a court case and arrest warrant against me. I was suspicious because I got a similar call recently. So I rang HMRC myself and they told me they don’t make calls like that. Usually, they send a letter first and if needed, someone might visit you in person to discuss the matter. Definitely a scam trying to scare people.

Got a call claiming to be from HMRC, automatic message at first, then when I pressed 1, a guy with an accent that sounded Indian started asking for my name and birthday. He said I owed money to HMRC. I told him that’s not true and that I have an accountant who handles all my taxes. Then he asked some really weird question about sleeping in the same bed as him! Told him right away he’s a scammer. Really awful situation!

Got a call claiming to be from the Inland Revenue. When I picked up, a robotic voice said they were suing me and to press 1 to chat with someone and sort payment. Since when does the Inland Revenue handle stuff by phone like that? Feels off to me, definitely dodgy.

Got a robocall telling me HMRC was taking legal action against me and to press 1 to talk to someone about it. Didn’t buy it for a second and just ended the call. There’s no way HMRC would ring like that. I blocked the number but I’m pretty sure they’ll try again from a new one soon. These con artists are really cruel, targeting people who might be frightened by all this. Luckily, I’m not one of those folks, but still, it’s pretty unsettling and annoying to keep getting hassled like this.

Got a phone call today saying HMRC were taking legal action against me and to press 1 for more info. Called at like 4:45 on a Saturday, which seemed odd. The bloke knew my postcode but kept asking for my birthday, which I refused to share, then I just hung up. Watch out for this one!

My mum, who's 85, got a phone call saying she's being sued and to press 1 for more info. It's really upset her and caused a lot of worry. Seriously, can’t the police or something step in to stop these idiots who just want to cause trouble? It’s not fair on older folks.
