Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, telling me I owe a huge amount and that the police were on their way to arrest me. Total scam!

Had three calls back to back recently. The first one said it was from BT, warning me I'd be cut off unless I rang them back. Then the next two were these automated messages, saying there were legal actions against me and to press 1 to speak to someone or dial 0203389 6110. I’m well aware it’s a scam, but my elderly folks would be absolutely terrified and probably ring that number without a second thought! These scammers are proper low-lifes.

Got a call from them earlier today, but after reading all the warnings about it being a scam, I decided not to return the call.

This lady was trying to get my National Insurance Number and I refused, telling her that arrest warrants never ask for that kinda info and to just check using my name. Then she just ended the call!

They tried to get my National Insurance Number, but I told them that's not info you'd find on an arrest warrant and told them to look me up by name instead. Then she just hung up! I reckon this call came because I once flipped a scam around and managed to get the scammers to hand over nearly £300, thinking I was onto some gold treasure! Haha, now they’re claiming there’s an arrest warrant - what a joke!

Got a robotic call from a US number saying someone was taking me to court. They told me to call this number or hit 1. Definitely a scam, so I didn't bother.

Got calls from this number about 18 times just today. Each ring was exactly the same and it took forever, like 7 minutes, just to get rid of them! Total scam no doubt. We never picked up or dialled back, lucky we didn’t.

SCAM ALERT. Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC saying I owed a huge sum and I had to pay immediately or the police would come round to arrest me 😂😂😂 I just told them I'd be fine as long as I could finish my coffee first, and that I was eagerly waiting for the cops to rock up. Spoiler: still waiting and definitely not arrested!
