Got a call from some robotic lady saying there's a claim against me. She told me to press 1 or call a certain number to talk to a case worker, but the connection kept dropping so I couldn't even catch who the claim was with. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

In the last few days, I've received a couple of voicemails on my answering machine at a similar time each morning. I haven't bothered to return their calls. After doing a bit of sleuthing online, I found out it's a scammer. I've since blocked their number, just to be safe!

I got a call from 01256408941 and an automated voice said I had a case against me. It told me to press one to talk to a case officer or to call a 0203 number mentioned here. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

It’s the usual nonsense, honestly. Eventually they’ll give up. Just get a caller ID and ignore them, job done. Simple as that.

Had three calls back to back recently. The first one said it was from BT, warning me I'd be cut off unless I rang them back. Then the next two were these automated messages, saying there were legal actions against me and to press 1 to speak to someone or dial 0203389 6110. I’m well aware it’s a scam, but my elderly folks would be absolutely terrified and probably ring that number without a second thought! These scammers are proper low-lifes.

I received a similar call earlier today. I chose not to return the call after coming across various alerts indicating it might be a scam.

They requested my National Insurance Number, which I promptly declined to provide. I mentioned that such information isn't included on an arrest warrant, so I suggested they look me up by my name instead. She then cut the call!

I suspect this call is linked to my recent efforts to reverse a scam, where I managed to lead the fraudsters on, resulting in them parting ways with nearly £300, believing they were onto a genuine fortune! It’s quite amusing to think they’re now claiming there’s an arrest warrant - how absurd!

Got a robotic call from a US number saying someone was taking me to court. They told me to call this number or hit 1. Definitely a scam, so I didn't bother.

Today, this number bombarded us with calls, a whopping 18 times, can you believe it? Every single call was exactly like the last. It took an eternity, a good 7 minutes, before we finally managed to disconnect them! Absolute con artists! We wisely opted not to pick up or return the calls, and thank heavens for that!

A total con job!
Received a dodgy call claiming to be from HMRC, insisting I owed a small fortune and that I had to cough it up immediately, or else they'd send the coppers to cart me off! 😂😂😂 I simply replied that I’d be more than happy to wait for the authorities while I enjoyed my cuppa. Unsurprisingly, the police haven’t shown up!
