Phone number ☎️ 02033895667 👆 is reported as a persistent scam number targeting people across the UK, with automated calls falsely claiming to be from HM Revenue & Customs. Callers insist there is an arrest warrant for unpaid taxes, urging recipients to press a number to speak to a ‘case officer.’ The calls often use threatening language and computer-generated voices, causing distress particularly among elderly and vulnerable individuals. Users consistently report ignoring and blocking the calls, warning others not to respond or provide personal information. Authorities, including HMRC and Action Fraud, have been informed. Got three calls from them saying HMRC’s got a warrant out for me and to press 1 to chat with my case officer. Bit worrying!

Got another scam call today. I never pick up if I don’t recognise the number, and I’ve even stopped using my answerphone now. I have caller ID, but these scammers are clever - they just tweak a few digits and ring back. Blocking them feels useless sometimes.

Got a call from 02033895667 saying it was HMRC with a warrant out for me. The message was recorded and told me to press 1 to talk to a case officer. I got the same call yesterday and another one again this morning. I’m based in Denny, Scotland.

Got a call three times on the 10th of February from some automated voice claiming to be from HM Revenue & Customs. They said they’d been trying to get hold of me and that there was an arrest warrant out for me. I knew straight away it was a phishing attempt, but still, it was pretty unsettling. I’m gonna report it to HMRC as well.

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, saying I had an arrest warrant for unpaid taxes. It was really scary and feels like a terrible way to target older folks. Never hand over your details and make sure to report these scammers to the police right away if you answer one of these calls!

This number (02033895667) keeps ringing me up quite a few times lately, saying there’s a warrant for my arrest because of some tax stuff with HMRC. It’s really scary, especially for older folks. I’m old too, but I quickly figured it’s just a scam. Still, no idea how to make the calls stop.

Today, our answerphone picked up two messages from the same robotic voice. Honestly, it’s quite annoying, but what really concerns me is how upsetting it might be for older or more vulnerable folks.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from HM Revenue saying there was a warrant for my arrest and to press 1. So I did. Then this guy with an accent asks who he’s speaking to, but I wouldn’t say. I told him he called me, so it’s his turn to tell me. I was having a laugh the whole time. He asked if I was taking it seriously, and I said no, ‘cause he was a muppet. In the end, he was the one who hung up, probably realised he wasn’t gonna get anything from me. Honestly, he looked like the fool in the end! 😂

Got a call again from this number saying there's a warrant for my arrest. Total scam, no doubt. Next time, I’m just gonna hit 1 and mess about a bit. Already told HMRC about it.

Got calls two times today from this number, both times they left messages talking about an "HMRC arrest warrant" or something like that. Like others have mentioned, this kind of stuff can really scare people who are vulnerable. I usually just let unknown numbers go to voicemail, unless I recognise them from the caller ID. If they leave a proper message I might ring them back, but if not, I just block numbers like this straight away.

They called me three separate times saying there was a warrant out for my arrest. The message was recorded and told me to press 1 to talk to my case officer. I just ended the call and reported it to the HMRC team.

Afternoon all, just wanted to share some rubbish we've been getting from 02033 895667, pretending to be HMRC. They’re saying there’s an arrest warrant out for us - absolute nonsense - and telling us to press one right away to speak to some case advisor. Honestly, this sort of scam probably only fools those who already feel guilty or aren’t too clever (looking at you, Lambeth lefties). Around here in central Lincolnshire, it’s mostly the elderly getting targeted and scammed, especially the sweet older ladies.
