Someone said they were from DAG and offered a huge discount if I gave bank info. When I questioned it, they just hung up on me. I rang DAG myself and they sounded pretty vague about the whole thing. When I asked how these callers got hold of my phone number, address, and insurance details, they just wouldn’t say. This feels like a breach of GDPR for sure. It’s worrying that someone’s got hold of private info like that - DAG really need to sort this out. I’d recommend anyone else hit them up and ask about it too.

Had a call from someone saying it was about some washing machine insurance policy with "DAG", but it all sounded dodgy. They couldn’t give me any proper information. They did manage to guess my name and roughly where I live, but it wasn’t totally right. Felt like a scam for sure.

Got a call claiming my washing machine’s cover was about to expire and asking if I wanted to renew it. I barely got a word in saying I didn’t have any cover at all when they just cut me off. Proper cheeky. I was actually thinking of getting a 10-year plan with them and handing over my bank info so they could drain my account… just kidding! Next time, I might actually sign up but give them dodgy details instead. If they can bother me every day, I’m well within my rights to mess with ’em a bit!

Got a call from someone called Jack at DAG about a washing machine linked to an old London flat I used to have. They mentioned my name but I haven’t lived there for ages, so it seemed a bit dodgy. I told him they must have mixed up the info since I didn’t even recognise the address. Jack said sorry and that was that - I ended the call after that.

Got a call for my missus, said it was from DAG about some washing machine insurance. We never signed up for anything like that, so I told them we weren’t interested. They sounded a bit annoyed, threatening to send cancellation forms or something. Ended the call there. Feels like they really push to trap you into it.

So a well-spoken lady called me and actually knew my name! I wonder how they manage to grab your info like that. She said something like, "Is this Mr ...? I'm ringing about your washing machine insurance." Honestly, where do they even get this stuff? Proper scammers if you ask me. I'm planning to ring OFCOM tomorrow and report it. Give yourself a proper job, love. What a scruff!

I got a call from someone saying they were from some tag company offering washing machine cover, but I told them I wasn’t interested and they just hung up straight away. They must have my info though, because they called even though I’m registered on the do not call list. I really want to track down the real company behind this so I can get my details removed and report them properly. Anyone got a clue who they actually are?

I get calls almost every day, like 3 or 4 times, and it’s always something daft. Sometimes they just hang up, other times they mention some washing machine warranty nonsense. It’s total rubbish, really. I just ignore it now since it’s a complete waste of time!

Got a missed call but there was no voicemail or anything. Rang the number back on my home phone but it didn’t come up as anything familiar. Fingers crossed it’s not some random redirected number from South America or Africa. Pretty sure it’s some sort of scam though, even though I’m signed up with the TPS, so I shouldn’t really be getting these calls. Whenever I do, I just let them know I’m on the TPS register and they mostly hang up straight away.

this number has called me a couple times and I never picked up, but today I finally did. some guy started trying to sell me a washing machine insurance or something. he claimed I’d already been signed up for a year but when I told him that’s not true, he just ended the call out of nowhere, lol!
