Got a call from Sigma Claims Insurance ( [#][#]sigmaclaims[###]) - the director’s Nadim Mahfooz, born June 1974. They say their HQ is at 4 Royal Court, Tatton Street, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 6EN if you want to send a letter, but the main office is actually 84 Sedgwick Road, Leyton, London, E10 6QP. Fun fact, they used to run Sigma Properties from there too. Though calling it an office is a stretch, as it’s also his home. Bit dodgy, really.

This morning, my phone rang bright and early, which is quite peculiar since I rarely receive calls on this device-especially at such an hour! When the number flashed on my screen, I opted not to pick up, as it was completely unfamiliar to me. Instead, I took a screenshot of it and did a quick Google search. Turns out, it's linked to an accident insurance firm! Apparently, most of their calls are just marketing ploys, and they only bother people who haven’t even been in a crash. I thought it’d be wise to share this: sometimes when you receive a call from an unknown number and the line goes silent or they’re just throwing bizarre questions at you, it’s likely they’re merely trying to verify if your number is active. If they ascertain that it is, they’ll subsequently sell it off to other firms, allowing them to pester you too. Hope this sheds some light for you!
