It does appear that these might be international calls routing through London. Typically, we tend to disregard any calls that aren’t saved in our contacts. A brief search revealed a few comments suggesting these calls were supposedly from Microsoft claiming my computer was infected with a virus. Honestly, that seems rather implausible! We’re inclined to just overlook them.

I received a call from this lot, and I must say, I have no idea who they are. They were supposedly conducting a survey related to unsecured loans. We politely informed them that we were rather busy at the moment, and they graciously thanked us before hanging up. Quite civilised, really, but a bit of a bother nonetheless.

At around half two, I received a call from a woman with a distinctly Chinese accent who claimed to be calling from Manchester. When I asked her if it was snowing, she seemed taken aback and didn’t provide any response. We decided to end the conversation after that.

Earlier today, we received a call from a number linked to this Viago character. Just as soon as the caller asked us to confirm our identities, they were met with the fantastically unusual names of Mr Off and our first name, Knobb. It seemed to take an eternity for them to catch on before they ultimately hung up. We’ve been inundated with calls seeking a Mr Forrest, and when we answered as Mr Tree, it was pure entertainment watching them flounder for a good while before the penny finally dropped! Honestly, there’s nothing quite like a bit of light-hearted mischief with these daft callers!

I received a call from this number today, 14th December. The caller mentioned that they could offer us cheaper phone rates. We made it clear that we’re signed up with the Telephone Preference Service and weren't interested in having a conversation. To her credit, she was fairly polite and ended the call. Honestly, I'm quite fed up with these annoying calls!

Received a second call today, the first one came from a rather unusual voice claiming to be from Microsoft, saying our computer had a virus. We asked for specifics, but she dodged the question. When we mentioned that it seemed rather improbable as we use a robust security suite along with a router, she insisted we wouldn't be able to discern the issue ourselves and asked when we could get on our computer for her to assist us. Quite bizarre, really, especially regarding our personal information. It sounded very much like a call centre in the background. We’re genuinely curious about how she obtained our phone number, name, operating system, and address. Just to note, we’ve conducted a comprehensive virus scan - all clear!

Received a call from this number at roughly 6 this evening. There was a bloke on the line with a distinctly Chinese accent trying to pitch us some phone services. The moment we asked how they got our details, there was a noticeable pause. He claimed to have sourced it from the Yellow Pages! I quickly pointed out that residential telephone numbers aren't listed in those directories anymore, so we had them pegged right away! I made it clear we’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and he seemed a bit baffled by that. It's quite amusing how these folks keep trying to pull a fast one!

Residing in Northern Ireland, we initially received a call from this number, warning us about a supposed problem with our computer.
