While it’s true that I’m eligible for an upgrade, I couldn’t shake off the feeling that the numbers he mentioned were off compared to what I’d been told before by Carphone Warehouse. When I pointed this out, he insisted that the in-store prices were pricier because of their running costs-quite the contrary to what I’d seen!
