Today, I got a call from a London number that I don’t recognise. My number’s on the TPS and it's ex-directory, so I was surprised they got through. An Indian bloke on the line said he was ringing from my local health centre and asked how I was doing. When I asked which health centre exactly, he named the place near my village, but I’m not registered with that surgery at all. I told him I had no connection to that surgery and then he just ended the call. Weird experience!

Received a call earlier today from a London number. The guy on the phone had an Indian accent and surprisingly knew my last name, then asked “how are you?” which immediately made me suspicious. He said he was ringing from some ‘health centre’ to talk about my partner’s medication. That’s the first thing that felt off - real health services usually mention the exact place, like a GP or pharmacy. He couldn’t give a clear name at first, but after a pause, he blurted out “Absolute Health”. Told him I didn’t know of any such place and ended the call. Definitely a scam.

Got a dodgy phone call claiming to be from a Medical Centre. They tried to sell me some herbal remedies, saying my regular prescription was causing me harm. I received a phone call on my landline at precisely 14.25 on the 30th of October, 2023. The caller, a gentleman of Asian descent, mentioned my name and claimed he had previously sold me Ginkgo and various health supplements. While it's possible he was correct, it’s been quite a few years since I last made such purchases, whether over the phone or in any other manner. Before he could elaborate any further, I kindly informed him that I was not keen on making any more orders, as I’ve ceased taking those supplements. I then courteously concluded the conversation. Fortunately, he didn’t ring back.

Got a call meant for my 90-year-old dad, probably trying to hassle him. Luckily I picked up instead, and let me tell you, I gave 'Brad' an earful. At one point he tried to scare me saying he’d charge my card £1,000 - yeah right, like that would ever happen. He was talking about some unpaid vitamin bills or something, obviously a total con. Funny thing is, he stayed on the call for ages, so I took full advantage and told him exactly what a pathetic excuse for a person he is, using some choice words!
