5 yearsGot a call from some East Asian scammers pretending to be from an appliance insurance renewal crew. They claimed I had two washers and a fridge freezer insured with them (which I definitely don’t). Then they said, since I’m a “loyal customer,” I could get a discount. When I asked how much my previous policy cost, they got all defensive, like I was challenging them. I told the bloke straight up, “I don’t believe a word you say, you’re a lying, cheating thief who deserves to be locked up in some awful prison.” He just slammed the phone down on me! Proper rude.5 yearsThis number has rung me a few times but luckily I use this BT call blocker thingy. It’s pretty handy cos it makes you say your name and do some extra step before it actually lets the phone ring. Real folks always seem to follow it but cold callers never bother, so it’s helped me avoid loads of those.5 yearsReally irritating, honestly.5 yearsI got a call the other day and the person asked if I was so-and-so, I said yes and then they just ended the call straight away. I often get calls starting with similar first few digits and I usually ignore them cause after picking up once, I get loads more from the same start but with different endings. Now I’ve decided to just not pick up unknown numbers for a bit.5 yearsthis number keeps ringing me up all the time. i never answer my home phone unless the caller is someone i recognise, i’ve got caller id on it. it’s really annoying and pretty invasive, sometimes they call me multiple times in one day!5 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were with D&G insurance about my cancelled white goods policy. Trouble is, my coverage ended more than 6 years ago! Seemed fishy to me.D & G Insurance5 yearsHome insurance is what I meant, sorry if that was confusing!5 yearsReceived a call that was completely quiet on the other end.
