Got a robo call pretending to be from HMRC, claiming I was heading to the high court over some tax dodging. I rang back and ended up talking to someone called ‘David Williams’ who told me I had to cough up £972 for not submitting a P90 in 2016. He pressured me to pay straight away or face legal trouble. Luckily, I checked with my accountants first and they said it was a total scam.

I got a robocall claiming to be from HMRC, telling me I was being hauled into the high court for dodging taxes.
