Got a call about some FX trading stuff, said I asked for info but I never did. I gave the tosser a proper earful about GDPR right there on the phone and told him to remove my number from their system or I’d report them to the ICO. Then I blocked the number straight away.

Here in Dublin I got a call from this number. I asked where they found my number and the woman claimed I’d checked out their site. I asked which site and she said BFI. I told her that’s not even a proper website and asked again how they got my details. She went on about free trading tips then I told her I wasn't interested and ended the call.

Just like others have said, I got a call from BFI Finance about some training stuff. When I asked how they got my info (they even had my full name), the guy suddenly got dodgy and told me he’d erase my details and I wouldn’t hear from them again. Feels like a total scam to me. Would definitely warn everyone to be careful if you fall for whatever story they’re spinning. Definitely a risky number to deal with.

I’m in Ireland and they left a voicemail because I didn’t pick up. They got my name wrong, asking if they were talking to Ms Fairweather or something like that. When I didn’t respond, they suddenly switched to talking in a language I couldn’t recognise, probably to someone else nearby.
