I haven't received or noticed any phone calls or text messages from this number, but I did notice on my EE bill that charges amounting to £1.50 have been made. I am going to contact EE to find out what can be done about this situation.

I receive phone calls every day, with the individuals on the other end insisting that I send a text saying "STOP" to the number 88222. Despite having done this multiple times, I still continue to receive the phone calls. Somebody is truly irritating me, and I am growing increasingly frustrated. How can I effectively address this issue and put an end to it?

I have emailed the winalert company to inform them that I no longer wish to receive their notifications, but unfortunately, they have not complied with my request.

Beware of this highly hazardous telephone number. If you unintentionally return their call, they will automatically enroll you into their so-called 'services' without your knowledge. As a result, you will be charged a relatively small sum each month, which is designed to go unnoticed by you.

I tried to cancel but they won't accept my texts, so I’ve had to put my phone on airplane mode till it’s all fixed! Definitely learnt not to let the kids use the phone without watching them. What a nightmare!

i got charged £7.50 from moonlight mobile for some quiz2win text messages. it’s a subscription thing, and if you want to stop it, you send STOP to 87066, but that costs 13p each time. my 12 year old daughter got the texts and was actually the one who sent the stop message, which i’m quite pleased about. now, i’m trying to get my money back because these charges shouldn’t have happened. i called the company twice in about half an hour and ended up speaking to the exact same lady both times. also emailed them at admin@moonlightmobile[###]. Hopefully they’ll sort it soon.

My phone got billed £23.40 on 29th Nov and something close to that again on 29th Dec. I rang my mobile provider and they said it was from admin@moonlightmobile{###]. When I reached out to them, they refused to refund, saying I must’ve given permission. Just a heads up, watch out for this!

I have been completely cheated. They have taken money from my account without my permission. I attempted to stop this by sending a message saying "STOP" to 8005, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful. This experience has taught me a valuable lesson.

These are the biggest fraudsters - they stole £50 from me. What is the government doing about it? Where are the police?

I've recently discovered an issue with my phone account where money is being deducted for a subscription that I never signed up for. Fortunately, BT mobile has been helpful in preventing this and blocking other premium numbers. The unknown subscription is listed on my bill as 700046149 from text message number 80005. I am currently in the process of getting a refund for this problem. It is important that companies like Tesco's, Sainsbury's, and other major corporations warn their customers about this scam. It has been observed that some large companies like BA have already addressed this issue in the media. It is only when we all come together to tackle this problem that we can put an end to it.

Beware of Moonlight Mobile Refund - somehow they manage to grab your phone number and then start billing you premium rates for quiz texts you never signed up for! It’s really frustrating getting charged for competitions I never entered on my phone!

I received calls from a company called Moonlightmobile who acquired my mobile number and sent me a text. This text charged £4.50 per week, resulting in a total loss of £31.50. I had never subscribed to their service, so I ignored the text and did not choose to opt-out. After exchanging numerous emails with them, they agreed to refund me £50. However, I am still receiving these messages, even though I have already opted out, on a weekly basis. How can I prevent this from continuing? I am currently in the process of contacting the regulator to address this issue. It is crucial that this stops immediately.

I’m absolutely swamped with emails telling me to use this number to opt out. The frustrating thing is, these messages offer no way to actually unsubscribe, and I can’t even reply to them. Honestly, just leave me alone already!

I am currently subscribed to the Voucher Club through this number, and I am being charged £4.50 per week. However, when I try to stop the subscription by sending a message with the word "stop," it doesn't allow me to do so. Additionally, nobody answers when I call the provided phone number.

I too fell victim to their deceitful tactics. It wasn't until after a few weeks had gone by that I realized I had been signed up for a weekly subscription costing £4.50 each week. It's best to stay away from them and be cautious of any offers claiming to be 'free'.

I am being charged £4.50 per week for a membership with a voucher club that is linked to Tesco. I have tried calling their contact number, but I can't get through. How can I cancel this membership and stop the charges?

My phone received a text message inviting me to participate in a free competition at Tesco for a chance to win a voucher. However, upon entering, it informed me that I would be charged £4.50 per week until I sent a "stop" message. I immediately responded with the stop message and was informed that it would take one working day to process the request. Then, I received instructions to call a contact number, but I recognized it as a scam so I didn't call. I believe this matter requires investigation. The text message was sent from the number 87066.
