Got a call about checking for mould in my loft, claiming it was some energy efficiency thing. Problem is, I don’t even have a loft because I live in a flat. They never gave me any details or used my name or address either. Just kept asking for info from me. Definitely fishy.

Avoid calling this number, check out the charges detailed on this website first. The trick here is they actually get paid when you ring them back!! It’s an old scam that’s been going on for ages and also makes money for the firms managing the calls.

This number keeps ringing me, and if I don't pick up, they try again with almost the same number, just swapping the final digit. Honestly, I hope they get caught and sent back where they came from. It's so annoying!

Got a call from someone called Sam at Estates Management about some new rules for homeowners. He asked, "Are you the homeowner?" I didn’t say anything and just hung up. Later, I figured out it was a scam. Usually, I ask them, "Where did you get my number from?" and they hang up straight away. Honestly, I don’t get how these people live with themselves. A bloke called himself Sam, said he was from some government office. He reckoned I’m the homeowner and asked if I knew about new government rules about what happens to houses after someone passes, like wills and that. I didn’t really say much, just told him I was up to speed and had all my stuff sorted. Then I ended the call. Pretty sure it was a scam.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be associated with "estates," discussing some "new legislation." Given that I'm over 55 and listed as the homeowner, he insisted he had information sourced from an official website. He even suggested that he must already know my name! Then, abruptly, he hung up. What a curious ruse!

Definitely a solar scam. Got a recorded message from a woman speaking with a posh English accent. There were weird pauses after her questions and when I asked if it was a scam, it didn’t respond. Instead, it just kept going with loads of technical nonsense. I just hung up.
