Phone number ☎️ 02032909585 👆 is reported as a persistent and sophisticated scam involving calls from individuals claiming to be from "Online Support Ltd" or Microsoft technical support, often using a London address and a specific contact number. Callers typically allege urgent computer problems or security breaches, pressuring recipients to grant remote access or pay fees for supposed virus removal or software fixes. Many reports highlight heavy non-British accents, frequent call-backs, and use of different phone numbers to evade blocking. The scammers employ convincing tactics, including citing fake licence numbers, and target vulnerable individuals, resulting in financial loss. Genuine Microsoft and official organisations have no connection to these calls. It is strongly advised not to share personal or banking details, never grant remote access, and report suspicious calls to authorities and your phone provider.

Got an email from some bloke called Mr Lender UK claiming I was approved for a £3000 loan, which they said I applied for through Money Supermarket. The email was full of dodgy spellings and some of the wording was totally confusing. They want me to pay a £25 'insurance' fee before they send the money, promising the cash will hit my account within half an hour once I pay and hand over my bank info. Honestly, just be on your guard and don’t fall for it!

I kept getting calls from some company called ‘Online Support Limited’ saying my computer was hacked or something. I told them straight away I wasn’t interested and to stop ringing, but the calls just kept coming from different mobiles. Some random people even said they’d had calls from my number, which was weird. When I ignored them, they started leaving annoying messages. In the end, I had no choice but to unplug my phone completely.

Got a call from "Online Support Ltd" based at 78 York St, London, on my old unlisted number. They claimed my computer needed urgent updates and was at risk. They told me to turn it on and read out the license ID. I just ended the call straight away. After that, they rang me a few more times but I didn’t pick up. This isn’t the first time I’ve had calls from this company using the same address. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Just got a call from someone called "Marek" claiming to be from Online Support Limited. It’s a shame to see folks still getting caught up in these scams, and even worse that "Marek" chooses to play along. I hung up straight away but honestly wish I had the chance to mess with him like he did with me.

Got a call from someone saying we might have been targeted by hackers. They said they had details from our service provider but weren’t clear if it was from Amazon or eBay. They even confirmed who our provider was. Then suddenly the call dropped. A couple days later, they rang again, claiming we’d asked for a callback, which we never did. The guy started on about hacking threats again and wanted our email to send a link for some security update. Felt really dodgy to me.

Around 2pm on 31/12/19, I got a call from a woman named Victoria Ia who claimed she was calling on behalf of GDPR. She told me my email was being misused on Amazon and eBay by other people. She asked for my computer licence number and said she’d send me some sort of notification about these supposed breaches. I was a bit wary and told her I’d call back to verify if she was really with GDPR. She didn’t seem bothered by that at all. Later, I put her number, 02032909585, into my computer to see if it matched any official GDPR contact, but turns out it wasn’t legit.

The help I got was proper friendly and really professional, plus it came right when I needed it. It’s not often you come across tech support that’s both quick and knowledgeable like that. Whenever I’m stuck, I always go for Online Support cause I know they’ll have my back. Big thanks to Edward Shelby too, he was spot on with everything. Keep it up!

Received a call today, 9th October 2019. They were rather insistent, which made me quite wary. Their accents were distinctly Indian, definitely not local to the UK. I could hear the usual commotion in the background too. Clearly up to no good. They were attempting to gain access to my computer, so I played along for a bit until I had enough of their antics.

Some bloke called me claiming to be Edward Matthews from Golden Partners, saying there were major issues with my computer. He asked if I owned the computer and told me to reach out to onlinesupport[###]. He also gave me a phone number to call: 02032909585. When I checked the last call, it showed a different number - 01917593122. He didn’t ask for any personal info, and I didn’t give any either. I’m just going to ignore it.

Beware of those con artists who request payment in exchange for supposedly fixing your computer! Do NOT heed their advice; simply hang up the phone. If you've already taken their guidance, your first course of action should be to get in touch with your bank and credit card providers. You can find their contact numbers on the reverse side of your cards-it's crucial to inform them that your personal details may have been compromised. Following that, run a thorough scan of your computer using Malwarebytes or Spybot, both of which you can easily locate on majorgeeks.com. Consider carefully what personal information you may have divulged and take the necessary precautions. It's wise to change your passwords and ensure that two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled on platforms like eBay and Amazon. This way, you’ll receive a code on your mobile phone, which must be entered before any transactions can be carried out. Stay vigilant!

Just like quite a few others have pointed out on here, I received a call purporting to be from Microsoft’s online support team based in London. They delivered a serial licence number, claiming it was unique to my computer. After asking me to verify it on my device, they went on to enumerate a list of supposed issues, all of which they claimed to find in the events viewer. Thankfully, I wised up to their game in the nick of time. I’m now in the process of changing all my passwords and conducting a thorough security check.

Earlier today I got a call from a number that was withheld, and the caller claimed to be from Online Support Ltd, something about 78 York Street London. They were asking for Mr Smith, which is a name I often hear being used in these annoying calls. I told them they’d actually reached the phone and online fraud department, and asked for more info. She said she couldn’t talk to anyone except Mr Smith. Fingers crossed, that’s the scam call of the day sorted!

I got a call from someone with an accent, claiming to be from Online Support in Brentwood, London, saying they were contacting me on behalf of Microsoft about a possible virus on my computer. I just let them talk, then when they asked if I was at my PC I told them it sounded like a scam. They then said they’d given me their company’s name, address, and phone number (0203 290 9585) so I could ring them to verify. I ended the call but they rang back from a withheld number. Honestly, I reckon people who aren’t so tech-savvy could fall for this easily.

So, a woman named Emma rang me up claiming to be from Online Support Ltd at 78 York Street, London W1S1, asking me to log on and all that. Honestly, she didn’t sound believable at all. I told her I thought it was a scam, and then she handed me over to someone called Peter, who sounded just as dodgy. Curious, I phoned the number back from another phone and Peter himself picked up, saying “Online Support”. I just said thanks and hung up immediately. Definitely felt like a sketchy call to me.

I had a chat with someone claiming to be on support from Microsoft. I've just recently settled into this new home, and there's only one other individual who has my number. To add to that, I hardly use my computer at all. The agent mentioned she had sent me some alerts, but I haven't seen a single one. Feels like a scam to me!

I received a call from a number that was withheld, and the woman on the other end refused to divulge any details about her workplace-only mentioning something vague about "Online Support." So Victoria rang me again. I asked her for the company's registration number on Companies House. She went on about how I should already know it! When I asked again, she refused to give it, saying she wasn’t obliged to share that info. She started getting a bit annoyed, so I just ended the call.

My 80 year old mum got caught out by what looks like a scam for a Gold package costing £475. They sounded so believable, even showed stuff on her computer. A woman, who said her name was Victoria, claimed to be from Microsoft’s tech team. They were ready to ring back and waste even more of her time. We’re now sorting out cancelling all the bank cards that got used and resetting all the passwords.

The 0203 number is still up and running as of today, and I’ve just told BT about it again this morning. They tried to get “Granny Molly” to give her bank card info over the phone for “security reasons.” Over the last few weeks, they've switched to at least 20 different numbers, probably to dodge call blocks. Got 189 spam voicemails in the last month alone… It’s clear they’re after Granny Molly’s cash.

This particular number seems to be linked to their "Central Server" operations. In the last month, I've found myself adding a staggering 17 numbers to my blocked list. Oddly enough, this is the number they instruct you to call. A whopping 197 calls have landed in my junk voicemail over the last 30 days, which just highlights their relentless nature. Every few days, they reach out from a fresh spoofed number; today, for instance, it appeared to be a mobile - 07765823925 - but briefly flashed up as International on my device.

I got in touch with BT as well to have a look at both of those numbers. The adviser told me these are linked to a scam that's been happening recently, where they ring through various hub numbers trying to gather our personal info. Apparently, they're using fake Microsoft problem stories - though the real issues Microsoft had were sorted out quickly. BT said they'd pass the details to their security team to get these numbers blocked across the network. All we need to do is keep letting BT know if we get calls from new hub numbers connected to this scam. Joanna (UK)

PART 3 I mentioned that she might be some kind of hacker, but she quickly assured me that if she was, she wouldn’t bother ringing me up directly or sharing so many details. She also claimed to know my Microsoft agreement number, although I had no way to check if that was true. I then asked for a contact number to ring back and verify her identity, which she provided. But I still felt off about it - she kept chatting, trying to stop me from hanging up and even suggested I call her back from a mobile phone, which I wasn’t having any of. PART 4 coming soon.

PART 4 She kept on pushing me about when I’d ring back, like was it gonna be in 5 minutes ‘cause it was urgent or would it be within 2 hours. Looking back, it felt like she was trying to keep the line open somehow. Anyway, I ended the call a few times during all her chatter. Afterwards, I checked the caller ID by dialling 1471 and got a totally different number than the one she called from - 01025652239. I then tried calling both that number and the one she’d given me, but neither of them were recognised anywhere. PART 5 coming soon

Got a call from a woman whose accent was so thick I couldnt make out her name. She claimed my laptop was sending them loads of errors. They gave me this number 02032909585 and said they were from Online Support Ltd. Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming my computer had some kind of technical problem that she had to fix. I asked her for a contact number because I was suspicious she might be a scammer and wanted to double-check. She gave me the number above, saying I should call it to confirm they were some kind of online support. Total scam, definitely don’t share any info with them. They rang my 83 year old grandma saying they were from Microsoft and her PC had some urgent issues that needed sorting. She believed them straight away coz she trusted it was legit, but luckily she phoned me before anything happened and we stopped it right away. I’ve just had a rather dodgy call from someone masquerading as a BT Server representative. They were trying to convince my husband to access his email, claiming there were issues with the server that they'd been attempting to alert us about. This woman said her name was Veronica Xia. She claimed she could sort all my computer problems and promised I wouldn't have to worry about antivirus ever again.
