The caller had a noticeable Asian accent and there was a slight pause before they spoke after I picked up. They said they were from O2 and warned me that my SIM was about to get deactivated, telling me they'd explain what to do next. I told them if that were the case, O2 would send me an email or notify me through their app, then suddenly they just hung up. Definitely a scam!

Just got a call from this number, but I didn’t pick up since I had no idea who it was and wasn’t waiting on any call. If they really want to talk, they can leave a message instead of ringing and hanging up. Definitely going to block it now!

I received a ring from this number, and the caller said his name was Mason, claiming to be with O2. He said I had to update my SIM card and wanted my address to send it over. I rang O2 afterwards and they said they never made that call.

02032908915 - Got called by this number claiming I needed a G5 sim to boost my phone’s performance. Told the woman my phone couldn’t work with G5 and she didn’t take it well, kept arguing. She pretended to hang up but the call stayed connected! I left the phone plugged in and kept the line open for a bit to check if she’d say anything else, then I finally cut off. Watch out for these scammers, they’re just after your cash or personal info to con you more. Be cautious, folks!

Got a call from someone claiming to be about my O2 contract, but I don’t even have O2. They were trying to scam me using info about an O2 SIM. Best to just hang up on them straight away. If you start telling them the pin code that pops up on your phone, you’re basically handing over your cash. Stay careful and don’t fall for it!

On the 27th of August 2024, I got a ring from this number claiming to be O2. They said loads of folks were having trouble after Virgin tied up with them and that they’d send me a new SIM card the next day to fix things. Thing is, I haven’t had any issues with my phone, and since my device flagged the caller as a POSSIBLE SCAM, I just ended up hanging up and blocking it. To me, this number seems pretty risky and untrustworthy.
