02032908439 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02032908439 👆 is reported as associated with numerous scam calls impersonating major UK banks, particularly Barclays, targeting individuals by claiming suspicious account activity or card issues. Callers often attempt to extract authentication codes to access accounts, but vigilance, such as verifying the caller and independently contacting the bank, has helped many avoid fraud. Genuine bank staff provide swift and effective support for actual fraud incidents, cancelling unauthorised transactions and reissuing cards. However, persistent scam calls have included threats and abusive language, prompting victims to involve the police. Users emphasise caution, advising not to share security codes and to report suspicious calls promptly. Overall, while genuine banking staff offer reliable assistance, this number is predominantly linked to fraudulent activity and should be treated with extreme suspicion.

Got a ring at like 9 pm from someone saying they were with my bank, telling me they were putting a hold on a transaction. They actually had some of my info which freaked me out, but I got a weird vibe when they tried to send me a code. Definitely a scam, don't trust it!

I had an encounter with a bloke claiming to be from Barclays. He seemed to know that I was due for a new card and then attempted to fish for an activation code from me. I played it smart and said I wasn't certain about that, promising to ring them back. Luckily, I took a moment to search the number online and discovered it was a right scam. The chap rang me back a few times, but I made it clear I wouldn’t be sharing any codes. When he pressed me for a reason, I simply mentioned my findings, but before I could finish my thought, he abruptly cut the line! Cheers to being cautious!

Someone named Adam Bilson or something similar tried getting into my bank account and sent me some verification codes to finish transactions. Luckily, the message warned me not to share those codes, or else I might’ve lost my cash. I contacted the bank, and they confirmed it was a fake attempt. I honestly thought it was Barclays at first. Total scam from a call centre.

Had a call from some annoying teens pretending to be from Tesco Bank, not realising I don’t even have an account with them anymore! To make it worse, they rang me again from the exact same number just the other day. Proper waste of time.

Was setting up my card on Paypal and got some authorisation texts that looked legit, they said they were from Santander. Then they rang me, acting like they were from the bank. I nearly fell for it on the call but decided to Google the number first and found out it was actually a scam. I’ll be letting Santander know about this. It was really convincing and honestly quite frightening.
