I received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be from 'Carphone Warehouse' but it came from an unfamiliar number. They were attempting to entice new clients by offering to cover the excess charges on my existing contract, suggesting I could switch to them for half of what I'm currently shelling out. Naturally, I had my suspicions and asked if it might be a scam. The chap assured me it wasn't and said they would return the call from an official Currys number, which he claimed was this one: 02032907299. Honestly, I'm not entirely convinced. Something about it feels off, and my instincts are warning me that this might very well be a scam.
