Reports on phone number 02032907142
11 yearsToday I got a call on my mobile from someone claiming to be a Microsoft tech, saying my computer had issues. I told them I was busy with work but would check later at home. I asked for a contact number and was given 0203 2907142. When I got back, I rang my phone provider but they couldn’t do much and told me to report it to the police. The police then directed me to action fraud, but they were busy and their voicemail just told me to report it online. So I filled out their online form, but it never even asked for the phone number or details, just made me submit the complaint. Honestly, it felt like a pointless exercise. How can they help if they don’t take calls or get enough info from reports? It’s frustrating because older folks in my village keep getting hit by these scams, and it seems like no one really cares or knows how to deal with it. Isn’t there a better way to tackle this?Microsoft11 yearsGot a call claiming to be from Microsoft, saying there was a problem with my computer.
