I've just fallen victim to a scam from this number as well. They pretended to be O2 and somehow got into my accounts. They placed an order for a phone, which I said no to when the courier came, but the DPD driver had already snapped a picture of me accepting it. Then I got a text saying the phone was successfully delivered, and right after that, this number rang me.

Beware of this scam with O2 sim cards! Just found out someone’s trying to trick people with fake calls about their O2 sim. Don’t fall for it!

Beware, this number is linked to a scam where hackers take over your O2 account and then send you a phone they claim is yours. A guy called Steve Roy tells victims to ring this number so they can sort out picking up the phone, but really it’s just a trick to get your phone stolen, and then you’re hit with a bill well over £1300. Don’t ever trust random calls claiming to offer cheaper mobile deals, especially if they say they’re from O2 - the company doesn’t do cold calls with offers like that.

So this fraudster somehow got into my wifi and ended up buying stuff with my info. Proper nightmare!
