Got a call from this number earlier today (10/10/2021). Honestly, the best trick with these scam calls is to drop names like ‘kitboga’, ‘scammer payback’ or ‘Jim Browning’. They hang up pretty quickly once you mention those.

I was just chilling at home when my phone rang with some automated voice of a woman talking with a US accent. She said I was the only one on the call, which sounded kinda weird. Then there was a bunch of noisy background like one of those dodgy call centres, lasted a few seconds. Before I could say anything, it suddenly said I’d been booted out of the conference and the call dropped! Proper strange experience that was.

Got a ring from this number saying I won the Postcode Lottery. Told the lady on the line that was very unlikely since I don’t take part in that lottery. The call just went dead and I ended it there.

I received a call earlier today from a particular individual who claimed that I had been chosen as a winner of a prize in the post code lottery. Surprisingly, they requested my bank details, stating that they needed to deposit £1.00 into my account to verify my identity. Despite their efforts to acquire this information, I firmly declined. The person on the other end mentioned that they would phone me again next week. Best of luck to them! Perhaps I will use this opportunity to occupy an additional 15 minutes of their time. Got a call on SUNDAY around 4:10pm, totally annoying since it just rang out with no one answering or anything. Absolute rubbish these cold call scam folks, why isnt anyone cracking down on these muppets?

This number has called me a few times lately. Often there’s just silence when I answer. Today they called again, but I couldn’t quite make out who they claimed to be representing. I asked for more info but they ignored that and just asked if I was who they thought I was. I stayed quiet and the person then started pushing some discount card that supposedly gives half-price off groceries and everywhere else you use it. Definitely sounded dodgy to me, so I told them I’m not taking any scam calls and hung up. Proper annoying and feels quite unsafe!
