02032903080 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02032903080 πŸ‘† is reported as a scam involving automated calls impersonating HMRC, often using threatening language and American-accented robotic voices. Callers claim urgent tax issues or legal action, pressuring recipients to pay quickly or seek legal counsel. The scam employs spoofed phone numbers to appear legitimate, sometimes leaving intimidating voicemails from fictitious agents like "Sarah Wilson." Genuine HMRC communications are never made by phone in this manner; official contact is always via post. Victims have reported emotional distress and financial loss after falling for these tactics. The number is widely recognised as part of a coordinated scam preying on vulnerable individuals, with no connection to the actual HMRC.

Got a call from some automated voice claiming to be HMRC, total scam for sure. What cracked me up was how it sounded all bossy and scary, then ended with a cheery “take care” - talk about mixed signals!

I just picked up that number and all I got was a robot voice saying “bye” before hanging up. I suppose I’m lucky this time.

Got a call from what sounded like HMRC, this automated voice was really scary, threatening me with "ignore this call and face the consequences." Proper terrifying stuff!

Don’t answer these calls, they’re just pretending to be from the tax office. Best thing to do is just block the number and forget about it.

I got a call from 020 329 03080, it was some kind of automated female voice, kept shouting about HMRC and threatening stuff. Bit scary but sounded dodgy to me.

Definitely a scam, best to just block the number or not answer at all.

Got a call on my cell from a number I didn’t recognise, so I let it ring out. Later, I got this voicemail from a woman’s robotic voice claiming HMRC was looking into some tax fraud and said to respond fast or face legal trouble. I knew straight away it was a scam and just blocked the number.

I've had this number ringing me non stop, and one time an American sounding robot told me I should get myself a solicitor, which felt really creepy! Normally I just ignore it and let it ring out, but when I picked up, they just dropped the call straight away. Honestly, this lot really should be looked into asap.

Got a call from some automated thing claiming to be HMRC on a Saturday, yeah right, I’m not daft!

Just like others have said, I got a call supposedly from HMRC but it was some dodgy American robot voice telling me to ring them back with a solicitor or I'd face legal trouble. How come these numbers keep getting used for stuff like this? There really should be tighter rules on landline numbers. I can only imagine how scared someone vulnerable would be getting a call like this - proper bunch of muppets.

This happened to me too, and I genuinely thought it was legit at first. I got so anxious I rang my accountant straight away. While chatting to him, I got another call from 020 7437 1212 claiming to be the police, but I just ended the call. My accountant then checked with HMRC and confirmed it was a fraud. I got tricked at first because their call showed the HMRC number, but I now know people can "spoof" caller IDs to make it seem like they're calling from genuine numbers.

Few hours back, I got a call claiming I owed about £4000 to HMRC and they even used an old address of mine. I asked them to email me the details but never gave out my actual email. They ended the call after that.

Got a call from this number but there was no one on the other end. After a few seconds, an automated voice said something along the lines of “please hang up now” and “goodbye”. I guess that’s not too bad compared to some of the other annoying calls I get!

Two blokes just threatened me earlier, was proper nasty. I told ’em I find it awful how they go after vulnerable folks and said I’m going to keep at it no matter what they say.

I can tell you for sure that HMRC doesn’t run a call centre in America filled with bots, and they definitely wouldn’t handle late tax payments like that.

Got a call from HMRC first thing on a Saturday, which was odd enough, but then it was some kind of automated voice that sounded American! Honestly, who does that?

I called the number back and straight away they said I owed some tax money. I hadn’t said who I was at the start, so when I asked who they thought owed this tax, there was a long silence. I said I didn’t owe anything, and they asked me how I could be sure - such a daft question! Then they threatened me with court and legal trouble. It felt really intimidating, so I just ended the call.

I got a call from some automated voice, like they really expect anyone to believe that? Honestly, it had me chuckling. At the end, the robot said “Have a nice day!” in this weirdly cheerful way. πŸ˜‚ Bet some folks might panic and ring back though!

Got a message from some dodgy "Sarah Wilson" claiming to be from HMRC, sounded super robotic and odd. Total scam, as HMRC never ring up like that, plus they definitely don't use automated messages with American phrases. Just ignore it and block the number, don't waste your time!

I got a call from someone named Sarah Wilson, sounded totally robotic, saying she was from HMRC customs and excise. She warned me that if I don’t respond quick, there’ll be serious consequences. They said it’s urgent and time-sensitive. Not sure what to do, so I’m just gonna wait and see what happens.

I didn’t get a call or any missed calls showing up on my phone, but there was a voicemail from this number. It was an automated woman’s voice claiming to be from HMRC Customs and Excise, and it sounded really intimidating, saying I had to ring them straight away or face legal trouble. I had a feeling it was a scam, so I looked up the number and saw loads of others have also been contacted by the same caller.

I got a proper scary call from someone claiming to be HMRC, telling me they need to talk to me urgently. They said if I don't ring back or sort out a solicitor, I'll be in big trouble. Honestly, if someone who’s vulnerable got that call, who knows what could happen? Absolutely shocking!

I got a voicemail saying it was urgent and to call back. When I rang the number, a woman answered claiming to be from the HMRC fraud team. Something felt off, so I asked her a question and she said to wait. Not feeling right about it, I just hung up. Pretty sure it was a scam.
