Some bloke rings up saying he’s from a firm called Remitly. I assumed he’d give up after the first few calls, but since Tuesday morning I’ve had about 8 of them. Just now, he’s called again. It’s never ending! He even tried to get me to log into my bank account. What a cheeky git!

I got a call from this number claiming to be the "Visa Fraud Helpline," warning me of some unauthorised transactions on my debit card. The whole conversation was a big scam, pretty clear from the start. Once the caller hung up, I looked up the number and it was fake. When they rang me again, I called them out on their scam and they quickly ended the call. Wish I hadn't wasted twenty minutes, but at least I stopped them from trying to scam someone else during that time.

I just got a call from a guy named James who claimed to be from Visa. He said he was stopping a charge of £900 to a person in California. The number he used was 01594829309, so I’m gonna look that one up next.

Someone called saying there was a payment request from my bank account. I contacted Barclays fraud team and they said nothing had come up. Definitely a scam trying to pull a fast one.

Got a call from a bloke saying he was with the building society. He reckoned someone was trying to nick money from my account and told me to pop down to the branch to take out my cash. He even said to leave my phone in the car while I was there. Proper persistent he was.
