My partner got a call from this number while he was driving. The caller said they were from Monzo and warned that someone was trying to make an eBay purchase using his bank info in a different part of the country. They said they wanted to "help" prevent it, knew loads of his details, and insisted he needed to check a refund. But really, that would have just approved the payment. We said we’d reach out to Monzo directly, but they tried to get us to sort it out on the phone. We just ended the call.

Somebody rang me up sayin my internet was slow and needed fixing, wanted to check what OS I had on my computer and asked loads about my mobile phone. When I asked how exactly they were going to update my router, they just ended the call. Proper scammer if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT, asking for my details and cash. Just ended the call straight away and blocked the number. Watch out for these scams!

Some bloke called me from 01829 289276 saying he was Johnathon and wanted to talk about my internet. I told him I didn't even have BT internet, and before I could do any sort of checking on the number, he hung up. Looks like a total scam to me.

I received a call where the person insisted I install TeamViewer. When I inquired about the account information, they refused to provide it and instead handed me this phone number.

I had a chap with a strong accent on the line claiming to be Ben Watson. Honestly, I very much doubt that was his real surname!

He was after my computer access, and let me tell you, he did NOT come off as a legitimate BT representative.

Best not to pick up when he calls!

I received a call from someone purporting to be from BT, who went by the name of Daniel Brawn. He wanted me to grant him access to my computer and provided a rather dubious ID number: D456852. Clearly, this is a scam of the highest order.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be David Parker with BT. He provided his ID number along with the telephone number listed above. He mentioned that my internet connection was compromised and insisted that I log into my computer. I chose not to follow his advice.
