Got a robotic voice on the phone claiming I was involved in a lawsuit. They told me to ring back this 'Officer Safia' from HMRC, saying I couldn’t just ignore it because it was urgent and I needed a lawyer with me when I called. Seems dodgy to me!

Got a voicemail saying I’m involved in some legal case and to call back right away. Total rubbish, I’m not falling for it. Sounds like one of those scams to trick you into ringing them so they can charge you. Watch out and don’t pick up the phone!

A recorded message came through telling me I’m involved in a lawsuit and I need to ring Officer Safia back, or else. It was honestly pretty scary. I’m baffled how they managed to find my number when it’s not listed and I use a call blocker too!

Got an automated call from someone claiming to be customs and excise, Inland Revenue or whatever, said I needed to ring back but only with my lawyer. Didn’t even bother, just hung up straight away.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he was with HMRC, said there was a lawsuit against my daughter who moved out ages ago. He sounded like he was from somewhere in Asia and kept asking me personal stuff. When I wouldn't give him any details, he just cut me off.
