I received a call earlier today from someone who said they were from Consumer Financial Claims Ltd. She introduced herself as Jessica, but something about the conversation felt off.

I got a call from 020 3289 8559 claiming to be from my bank's security team - total scam! It's crazy that this number's still active and scammers keep getting away with it. You'd think someone would shut it down by now!

I got a recorded call from a withheld number saying I had an open case with HMRC about unpaid taxes and to ring a certain number. I went ahead and reported it to Action Fraud.

Some guy called Michael said he had £3000 to hand over. He claimed I’d get £1500 in cash and the rest by cheque. Then there was Mark White, who supposedly works for the County Court of London and was meant to drop it off at my place today. What a load of rubbish! I told him to sod off straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from HM Revenue and Customs. They told me I had some sort of claim against me and even said there was an arrest warrant out. They asked me to ring a specific number to avoid enforcement action. Pretty clear scam, so don’t fall for it or answer if you see it.

Like some others have said, they said it was about PPI and insisted I pay £250 in iTunes cards before anyone would bring money to my home. Thought it was fishy and tried to follow up. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a call from someone pretending to be from a PPI claims company saying they had a cheque for £3,000 to deliver. Then they started asking me to pay a £250 fee first, but only through iTunes cards or something. Total scam, avoid it.

Some random number called me and I just ended the call straight away without picking up.

I kept getting calls from people saying they were from Consumer Financial Claims Limited. They used names like Jessica, Kevin, and Richard. They kept harassing me about some PPI compensation and asked me to pay using iTunes cards, telling me to scratch off the code and read it out to them over the phone. Totally dodgy and annoying!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Barclays and that the London County Court had approved something blah blah. They had a strong foreign accent and claimed my PPI was ready and would be delivered within an hour. Then they passed me onto their "regional team" who told me I needed to buy iTunes vouchers to cover the commission since they "couldn't accept cheques." I decided to check online and found out straight away it was a scam - they just want the iTunes card codes over the phone so they can redeem them. Total con!
