Got a call but no one said a word, just dead silence on the other end. Pretty weird!

someone rang up saying they were from bt, saying my internet was hacked and they needed into my computer to fix it. i told them i'd call the police on them, and then they just threatened to cut me off. after that, my phone was dead silent for like five mins, probably blocked me or something.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT's tech support about our broadband, but they rang the shop's line, not the usual office number. The caller had a strong Indian accent and it all seemed a bit fishy. Sounds like a dodgy outfit trying to trick us into changing providers. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
