These calls are nothing but scams, the folks behind them deserve to be thrown in jail. I can only imagine how many poor people have been tricked and lost cash to these fraudsters. Absolutely revolting!

This morning I had something really similar happen. I’ve already told the police about it, and now it’s in the hands of the action fraud team. Watch out because these lot are also sending emails containing dodgy links. Honestly, these scammers make me so angry!!

Got calls from some scammers pretending to be the police, saying I owed money to HMRC. They gave me a number to ring back, but it was just a trick to steal cash. So nasty and totally heartless. Honestly, these types deserve to be locked away. So far, I’ve heard of two of them - one bloke with an Indian accent and a woman calling herself Catherine, speaking with a European tone. What a pair of muppets!

Got a call from a person pretending to be with the police, telling me I owed money to HMRC and threatening arrest if I didn’t pay up. They told me to ring back on 0203 289 3930 and ask for someone called Catherine White. But when I tried calling that number, they were really unhelpful and refused to say where they were actually based. They were quite rude too, and there’s just no chance they’re really from the police or HMRC.

Hi, got a call today that was exactly the same. I was caught off guard and didn’t manage to get all the details right. The person claimed there was a complaint lodged by someone called Catherine White from HMRC, saying there’s an arrest warrant out for me over unpaid taxes. He even mentioned a HMRC reference number 169T1218. The call came from a police station located on Station Road in Runneymede.

Someone rang me, saying I had to get in touch with an officer named Kathrine White straight away. They warned me not to underestimate what the police and HMRC might do if I didn’t call her immediately. The caller said they were PC8 001 James Gadd. I’ve already reported these scammers to the proper HMRC authorities just to be safe.

For the past few weeks, I've been getting some suspicious calls. Today at 9:12am, someone called me from a private number saying I’d won a PPI claim handled in a London county court. They mentioned an officer would visit me within the hour to deliver a cheque for £4300. But they asked me to buy a Google Play card worth £315 first, telling me not to hand over the card, just to show it as proof. They gave me a claim reference YS0805 K and the phone number 02032893930. Since then, they’ve kept ringing me non-stop, but I’m just ignoring the calls now. Feels like a total scam to me!

Some bloke said I had a warrant for my arrest and if I didn’t call this number and talk to a Katherine White at HMRC in 45 minutes, they’d come to my house to nick me. He said his name was officer PC 8 001 James Gadd or sumthing like that.

I got a call and they told me to ring that number and ask for Katherine White at HMRC. When I called back, some bloke said he was Officer James Gadd from Herts Police. Totally fishy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone a while back who said they were from “Central London Court”. They wanted me to speak to a made-up name I used years ago to dodge scams. When I told them this person wasn’t there, they kept pushing hard. Things got nasty after I insisted the name wasn’t reachable.
