Just a heads up, this is definitely a phone deal scam. Like the other person said, they send you a different phone and then make you send it back to some home address in Birmingham. I’ve already reported them to Action Fraud.

Absolute scam, don’t ever give these people your personal information. They trick you with phone offers, but what you get isn’t what you ordered. They register a phone in your name and send it to you, but when you realise it’s the wrong one and call them, they blame the delivery and say your phone ended up with someone else. They’ll tell you to send it back and that you’ll get the right one soon after. They send a QR code for you to use when returning it, but after that you never hear from them again. They just ignore your calls entirely. Seriously, watch out for these scammers!

Really impressed overall. I was quite doubtful at first since the deal seemed almost unreal. But Fonehouse have been brilliant. Everything was straightforward, accurate and quick. Customer support was fantastic. I think the guy’s name was Ewan or Ethan (not too sure), and he was very patient with all my daft questions. The phone showed up in less than a day, and it cost me half of what the network (3) wanted. Definitely recommend them.

The site was pretty easy to navigate. I ordered a Sony Xperia 1 III on contract and got the phone the next day. The site advertised a free pair of Sony headphones included with the phone, saying they’d be sent out together. But the headphones didn’t come with the phone. I called and emailed their customer support, and a few days on, the headphones finally turned up.

Xperia 1 IV Got the Xperia 1 IV (came with free WH-1000XM4 headphones) ordered on Saturday 14th. It arrived about 3pm on Sunday. Managed to transfer my number Tuesday morning by 11am. Everything went smoothly. Best price I could find for the deal I wanted. Thanks!

Phone works perfectly! I had a bit of trouble initially trying to place my order, and then it got cancelled because they said I hadn’t provided ID. But throughout the checkout it never mentioned anything about needing ID. So I placed another order and emailed my ID to customer service, which got everything sorted. My phone arrived in brilliant condition, no issues at all, and it’s working just fine. Really pleased with this as my first phone on contract!

Constant spam calls to deal with Im gettin loads of sales calls nonstop and can’t get the firm to quit ringing me. I’ve never even bought anything off them. When I asked them to stop, the person on the other end (called Sam) didn’t seem bothered to sort it out. Update: I spoke with Fonehouse and it turns out these calls probably weren’t from them at all, but from some scammer pretending to be the company.

Good Experience Overall After reading a few not-so-great reviews, I was a bit hesitant about buying a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 from Fonehouse. The price was way lower than every other seller, so I couldn’t help but wonder if something was fishy (you know what they say, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!!!). Really good deal… would totally recommend it. The price was a bit lower over a 24 month contract compared to buying straight from the network, plus I got more data included than they usually gave. Customer service was spot on… had a problem with one of the phones I ordered. They quickly offered me a full refund or a replacement. I chose the replacement and got a new phone in just two days, and they even refunded the delivery fee. Would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

Supposed to be simple to set up, phone showed up the very next day. Didn’t mention that my PAC code wouldn’t work since I was switching from one Three plan to another with them acting as a middleman. Now I’m stuck in a loop trying to move my number to a free Giffgaff SIM before transferring to my new phone. Even asked me during sign-up if I was transferring from Three to Three! Why on earth would that be needed?

I've just received a call from this number yet again - it’s happened a few times before. They keep saying they’re from BT, insisting that my line will be disconnected in two hours because of some dodgy "download" issue. The information they provide is incredibly vague and the call centre behind it sounds chaotic to say the least. I'm convinced it’s a scam, especially since if you attempt to return the call, the number is completely unresponsive.

Over the last few days, I've been contacted by this number on three separate occasions. The voice on the other end, whether male or female, consistently bears an Indian accent, and they keep telling me that I’m eligible for a “money refund.” They claim it’s linked to a computer maintenance contract that I supposedly signed back in 2016, which I clearly have no recollection of. The caller assures me that they can forward all the pertinent details via email but insists that I need to give them my email address. Naturally, I declined. It seems like these callers are incredibly relentless. If they don’t manage to get through the first time, they simply ring back a couple of days later, seemingly undeterred.

I've encountered a rather similar predicament. Out of curiosity, I prompted them to send me an email (they were already in possession of my email) containing details regarding this alleged account from which I was supposedly owed a refund. They proceeded to send me a link to a web page on Google that mysteriously included "thetechhelplinerefund/home" in the URL, and the email came from a personal Gmail account. Upon informing them that I worked as an Internet Consultant and appeared to have uncovered their ruse, I was met with an onslaught of abusive language. In my opinion, it’s nothing short of a blatant scam.

Absolutely shocking experience! I received a rather unpleasant phone call today from a rather rude chap claiming I was due a refund from a company I’ve never even heard of. When I requested he remove my number from their records and cease contacting me, he turned quite aggressive, hurling crude insults my way like 'f*** off' and making lewd suggestions about coming over. I was utterly flabbergasted and could only respond with a stunned 'pardon?!' as he continued his tirade of nastiness, even threatening to show up at my doorstep. After I finally managed to end the call, the bloke had the audacity to ring me back not once, but twice more (which I obviously ignored). This sort of behaviour is absolutely unacceptable, and I will be reporting this to the relevant authorities without delay.

Absolutely shocking! I received an utterly belligerent and unsolicited call from a man who claimed I was due a refund from a business I’d never set eyes on. When I asked him politely to remove my number from their records and cease all communication, he flipped out and responded with foul language, including a crude remark about what he wanted to do to me. I was left completely stunned and managed to mutter an incredulous “pardon?!” before he launched into an even more aggressive tirade, making threats about coming to my home.
