Received a message from 020 3287 954 saying my ebay order was confirmed, but I never actually bought anything. The note said thanks for shopping and that they’d notify me when my stuff ships. If I didn’t make this order, they want me to call their fraud team right away on +44 20 3287 9584. Bit fishy if you ask me.

Got a dodgy email claiming to be from eBay saying I’d been charged £800 for an iPad delivered to 12 Hay Hill, London W1J 8NR. That address is actually for some office rentals nearby.

There was a phone number to call if I wanted to report unauthorised payments.

Totally a scam, no doubt about it.
