I received a call from someone claiming to be James Wilson from BT, who insisted there was an issue with my internet. When I politely declined his assistance and ended the conversation, he rang back to threaten me with disconnection of my service. He provided this number during the call. Quite concerning, I must say!

Got a call from someone claiming my internet had a virus and they could fix it for £5. Then they started asking for my bank info, which seemed a bit dodgy to me. Just a heads up, they might ring you too.

I received a dodgy phone call from an Indian chap claiming to represent BT, saying my internet was on the verge of being switched off. He insisted he needed to 'demonstrate the issue' so he could remedy it for me. Fully aware of his tactics, I let him ramble on while he attempted to gain access to my computer by guiding me through a script. That's when I lost my cool and called him out, questioning how he could sleep at night being such a deceitful swindler. To my amusement, he abruptly ended the call.
