The bloke who called me barely spoke proper English, so it was hard to get what he was saying. He mentioned something about a life insurance refund but I told him he wasn’t allowed to call me since I hadn’t asked for it. I asked for the name of his company and their full address. He tried giving a dodgy sounding one that didn’t seem right. I kept asking him to repeat the address as I couldn’t catch what he was saying. Eventually, he got fed up with me pressing him on it and just hung up. Blocked the number straight away after that.

I tried to explain my lack of interest and express that I didn’t want further calls, but they just kept on interrupting me. The caller ID showed “refundable limited,” which you can easily look up online. They’re masquerading as a life insurance provider, but in reality, they're running a dodgy small business without any regulation. They're soliciting loans disguised as "premiums," which they claim to pay out upon your death. However, since they're not monitored by the FCA, there's absolutely no safety net for your payments if they happen to go under. Stay vigilant!

There was this asian-sounding voice on the line just repeating hello over and over, even when I answered back! They seemed quite lost, so I said, “You dialled us, what do you want?” Suddenly, the call just got cut off. Pretty sure it’s one of those internet scammers - they usually have that kind of accent.
