Felt like one of those PPI scams, this bloke said he’d visit me to drop off £1000 in cash and a cheque for £1400. I told him to just post the cheque if it was legit. He got a bit dodgy about it, so I ended up cutting the call.

Got a call from someone acting like they were from a PPI firm, asking me to pay money straight away. Definitely felt dodgy and not something I'd trust. Be careful folks, sounds like a scam!
