Sounds like a classic PPI con to me. They claimed they wanted to pop round and hand over a grand in cash, plus send me a £1400 cheque as well. When I suggested they just send the cheque if they were genuine, they seemed a bit cagey about it. That’s when I decided to cut the call. Best not to take any chances!

It seems I've encountered a company masquerading as a PPI provider, insisting they need payment in advance. Quite suspicious, don’t you think? Feels very fishy indeed!
