some person rang me, said they were calling from bt about some hack on my internet and someone stealing my ip address. i got suspicious right away since a different company actually provides my internet. i asked the caller, who had a foreign accent, for his phone number and address. surprisingly, he gave it to me without fuss. honestly, dont trust these calls, they aren’t really bt. was quite silly of him to share his info like that!

I once had a similar number ring me for the same thing, so I played dumb and said I had amnesia and couldn’t recall anything. Another time, I told them I don’t even drive, so no crashes possible! Here’s a little tip: if you get scam calls, try to keep the conversation going as long as you can. The more time you waste on them, the less time they have to bother old folks who might not be so clued-up.

Got one of those robocalls again, this time from some dodgy firm claiming to be ambulance chasers. What a waste of time!

Just had a call from this number on my mobile a short while back. When I picked up, I didn’t utter a word, and suddenly, the line went silent. After doing a quick search to find out who it was, I decided to block the number. It really makes you think twice about picking up your own phone, doesn’t it? As someone mentioned, it really does strip away the joy of having a mobile!

This particular number keeps ringing me, often 2 or 3 times a day, which has become rather irritating. There was a lull in their calls for a bit, but just today I’ve received a couple of back-to-back calls. I've chosen not to pick up any of them.
