On the 3rd of December, I got a call from someone claiming to be Carphone Warehouse, offering me a contract with a new iPhone 14 Pro Max. After giving them all my details, they told me the phone would arrive on Monday the 5th. When it came, it wasn't the gold one I ordered but a black one instead. Right after receiving it, the same number called me again. I explained the mix-up, and the guy sent me an email with the return address. I sent the phone back as instructed, and he promised the gold iPhone 14 Max would arrive on the 6th, but it never showed up. From the start, I had a feeling this was a scam or some dodgy fraud, so I blocked my bank card just to be safe. To me, it’s clearly a scam. Watch out for calls like this!

Earlier today, I received a call from an unfamiliar number in London that raised a red flag as a potential scam. I chose not to pick up at all and simply let my phone ring until it eventually stopped. After that, I promptly blocked the number to avoid any further hassle.
