Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, said there's a warrant out for fraud against me. They told me to hit 1 to talk to an "officer" and sort out the tax I supposedly owe right then and there. I didn't hang about - blocked the number straight away!

I got a call from someone claiming HMRC was after me with an arrest warrant. Totally bogus! Don't get tricked by this nonsense. I've already informed HMRC about it and just went ahead and blocked the number. Classic scam call, watch out!

Got a recorded call from 'HMRC' about some tax scam linked to me. I didn’t stick around, ended the call straight away and blocked the number. HMRC doesn’t get in touch like that, so watch out!

Got a voicemail from some scammers today, it was this robotic message warning they’d send solicitors if I didn’t get back to them. We all know HM Revenue and Customs wouldn’t ring you like that, and they usually send a letter before anything else. Plus, they definitely wouldn’t use a mobile number. Be careful and don’t get tricked by these nasty calls!

Turns out 03002003310 is actually hmrc calling. They called back pretending to be hmrc. Wonder how many people get tricked into thinking it's really them.

If I was older or just starting out with self-employment, I might’ve got really confused about how HMRC does things. Not the brightest in the world but honestly, it did shake me up a bit. Whenever you’re unsure, just hang up and ring the company they're supposedly from yourself! These chancers are total con artists and honestly, they've got no shame. Plus, they don’t seem to think about how easily they could be messing with some poor mum. What really stuck with me was how pushy and brazen they were.

This number rang me earlier as well, leaving a message very much like what others have said - something about papers sent back without my signature and a warrant being put out for me. I got a call like this a short while ago too. It’s definitely not from HMRC, their official contact is 0300 200 3311.

#FightBackAgainstScam Just a tip if you fancy a bit of payback - switch off your caller ID in your phone settings. Then ring these scammers over and over. There seem to be about four different ones, all using the names John or David Millar (definitely fishy!). They’re getting proper irritated with me now, especially after I warned them I’m gonna encourage more people to annoy them like this.

Today at about 1:15pm, I got a call from this number. It was a robotic voice saying it was from HMRC and that there was an arrest warrant out for me because of some paperwork they said I'd not signed or delivered. Pretty clear it was a scam so I reported it as fraud to Action Fraud. Would recommend anyone else do the same.

Hopefully, they’ll allow me to keep my iPad if I end up in the nick, so I can give you lot a heads-up about how risky it is to just ignore these calls. For now though, I’m not planning on phoning them back, even if it could be quite telling to hear their side of the story! By the way, I got a letter from HMRC not too long ago confirming I don’t owe any tax at all.

Got a call from some automated message claiming I was about to be arrested over unpaid taxes and not submitting certain forms. Since there are three adults in this home, we were all wondering who they meant, but I reckon it’s just a scam so I didn’t bother calling back.
