The only spot nearby was some kind of off-licence and post office combined, which seemed odd. When I asked why I couldn’t just pay HMRC online, he claimed it was urgent because there were ongoing proceedings against me, and to halt them I had to pay straight at the ATM or the post office at that exact address they gave.
