This number called me pretending to be from my bank and said there was some suspicious activity on my card. They claimed I’d made a purchase I didn’t remember doing. Later, I got a code from my bank that I thought was just a security check, but it turns out it was actually for a transaction the scammer was trying to complete. Unfortunately, I ended up getting scammed.

Just got a call from someone pretending to be from 02, saying they needed access to my account to buy phones costing thousands! Total scam, don’t fall for it. I ended up hanging up straight away and blocked the number. These scammers are really dodgy, be careful!

I didn’t pick up it showed a London 020 number and I haven’t got a clue who it might be. Most likely some sales call or a scam I reckon.

Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be Virgin Media, saying something about a merger and needing to send me a new sim card. I was out walking at the time and the call dragged on, but I could barely catch half of what they were saying before it just dropped. They did know my email, but luckily it wasn’t the one connected to my 02 or Virgin accounts. Still, I’ll be watching out for any funny business. They sounded quite convincing with all the info they had, so watch out for this type of scam.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2 about my contract. Thing is, they didn't even know my name and I’m not with O2 anyway. Seemed dodgy, so I just hung up.

A person rang me claiming to be from O2, warning my sim would be disabled within a couple days. I told them they weren’t with O2, and then they just hung up without a word.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from O2, told me my poor signal was due to them merging with Virgin and that my SIM card would get blocked. Thing is, I don’t even use O2 for this number! Pretty clear it was a scam. I decided to mess with her a bit, and then she said she was gonna ring the cops on me 😂😂😂 Had me cracking up!

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2, telling me that because the signal was rubbish around here, they’d be sending out a new SIM card. They even knew where I lived and my O2 monthly bill amount. Not long after, I noticed my Microsoft password had been changed. Really disturbing stuff. I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise, but this one seemed genuine enough.

I let the phone ring about 5 times without picking up since the number showed up on this who-called site. Just putting it out there so folks realise it’s also targeting Yorkshire. Wanted to give a heads up for anyone around here!

Got a call from someone pretending to be O2, saying they wanted to go over my contract details. Felt a bit dodgy, so I didn’t give them any info. Sounds like one of those scams to me. Beware if you get a call like that!
