Received a call pretending to be from HMRC, but the moment I asked them to verify basics like my full name, they just cut me off. They seemed to have grabbed some info from Companies House but didn’t actually know anything about me. It’s obviously a scam, but they bank on people trusting it’s HMRC and not thinking twice.
