02032867933 Summary (Read all comments)
Phone number ☎️ 02032867933 👆 is reported as a scam targeting vulnerable people, especially the elderly. Callers adopt fake official roles, often claiming to work for banks or claims groups, and promise large cheque refunds or compensation. They demand upfront payments via money transfers, vouchers, or cash as "commission" or fees before cheque delivery. The fraudsters sometimes use aggressive tactics, including anger, insults, repeated calls, and even threats when questioned or refused. Their stories are inconsistent, and their accents or poor English raise suspicion. They appear well-researched, referencing personal details to appear credible, but the requests for immediate payments and unusual procedures strongly indicate fraudulent intent.

12 yearsSome bloke from India rang me, claiming the bank had overcharged me and they were sorting a refund. He said an agent would drop off a cheque for £2,800, but I had to pay them 10% first. So I had to cough up £280 via a money transfer to the guy who was meant to bring the cheque. I asked how long the transfer would take and he said he’d ring back to confirm. When he called again, I gave him a quick brush-off and told him to jog on.12 yearsAn unknown number rang my nan, saying she’d won some sort of PPI payout. The caller claimed he’d come round to her place with a cheque for £2800 for her to pop into the bank. But then she was told she needed to hand over £280 straight away. What’s really worrying is that he planned to visit her in person. He said he was from the claims advisory group and gave a name like Alex Robinson. Nan mentioned he wasn’t English and it was difficult to understand what he was saying.Alex Robinson12 yearsAstutely figured out, Batman!Batman12 yearsFraud Attempt with a Dark Twist from 02032867933 My elderly mum got a call from this number and just like someone else said, a man with an Asian accent called himself Mark Taylor but his English was really poor. He told her she owed £3800 and promised that Alex Robinson would bring a cheque in two hours if she paid £380 in cash at a nearby PayPoint. These crooks had already done their homework - they knew her name, address, date of birth and even the closest cash machine. They rang back a second time to check if she had the money ready, but when she said she’d spoken to her bank and wasn’t interested, the caller swore at her! Then it got really nasty as they threatened her with violence and even mentioned having a gun. Such terrible people.Mark TaylorAlex RobinsonPay PointSubmit Your Own Report (020 3286 7933)
