He claimed that there was £3,800 owed to us and that a certain Alex Robinson would personally drop off the cheque within two hours. However, he insisted that she first hand over £380 in cash at a local Pay Point. It was evident that this despicable individual had done his homework, as he had her name, address, and date of birth, not to mention he knew the closest cash point to her. In a second call, he was unnervingly checking if she had the cash ready. When she mentioned she’d consulted her bank and wanted nothing to do with him, he resorted to foul language!
