Just like loads of others, this bloke said he was from O2 and pushed the usual deal. I saw online that it’s best to waste their time cos every minute costs them money. Had a few mins spare, so I gave him a made-up email for the code and pretended I didn’t get anything. Messed about with him for a bit, going back and forth while he kept sending it again. Then I told him the truth, ended the call and blocked him. Was an amusing 10 minutes!

I didn’t pick up when they called but I checked the number on this site and saw loads of bad reviews. They first rang me at 10:14am, then called again at 11:12am, which seemed odd since last time they never left a voicemail when I missed their call. The first time I almost got to the phone just as it was about to stop ringing but didn’t answer, and the second time I just declined straight away since I knew from the reviews that this number looked dodgy. Got a call from someone saying he was Harry from O2, claiming my number was picked by their IT team for a 40% deal on calls and data. I asked where he got my details and he said O2’s IT department since that was supposedly my service provider. Thing is, I’m not even with O2 - he seemed a bit muddled but I told him to quit the scams, find a proper job and piss off. He kept trying to get info from me but I just ended the call. Typical time for these dodgy calls hoping to catch easy targets. Watch out!

Saw a missed call today from this number but no voicemail or anything. Didn’t know who it was and wasn’t planning on ringing back. I looked it up on Who Called Me and lots of people are saying it might be linked to EE. I’ve only just switched back to EE since my old provider stopped doing mobiles.
