I haven’t got the call yet, but I found this site after searching about a dodgy PayPal email saying I’d paid 600 quid to some tech firm. Pretty clear to me that it’s a total scam.

Got a call from someone saying PayPal was going to take £698.99 in the next 3 days. Looks like a total scam. Don’t bother calling that number back, it’s definitely dodgy.

Just got an email from PayPal saying I’d sent £698.99 to some Bridgette Stevenson at Nano Tech Inc. Obviously, I didn’t make that payment so I’ve flagged it up with PayPal. Honestly, the government should really think about shutting down entire IP ranges to stop this kind of thing happening.

Got a robo call telling me it was from HMRC, said if I don't ring them back I could face legal trouble. Quite worrying at first!

Had another ring earlier, wasn’t one of those silent ones thankfully. The bloke said he was calling from some call blocking company, offering to stop all these pesky telemarketers and sort out my call blocking settings overall. Bit suspicious but he was pretty convincing.

Just got a call from 02039977317 around half past twelve. When I checked the voicemail, it was a woman speaking with an American accent claiming to be from HM Revenue, warning me I'd face legal trouble if I didn’t return the call. Felt a bit dodgy to me!
