We are keen to establish the legitimacy of this number, as we've had some dubious interactions with individuals claiming they're refunding us £5,422 for alleged banking fees. They've asked for our account details and now demand that we deposit £175 at the post office before we can receive our supposed funds. The call originated internationally, and it has all the hallmarks of a scam as they assert they're associated with the Ministry of Justice. We're understandably wary of the situation.

Absolutely dodgy, this whole affair. It's plain to see how these individuals attempt to siphon off your personal details. They ring you up under the guise of needing you to fill in some online questionnaire. One of the queries they throw at you is about your banking affiliations - like which bank you use and how long you’ve been a customer there. They even contacted our mother, and she ended up giving them a duff bank account number. The moment they rang back, they promptly referenced the false account she’d given them. It's quite alarming, really!
